Abandonado Tequila Extra Anejo is made from 100% Blue Agave Tequilana Weber and is 100% natural.
Abandonado Tequila Extra Anejo is a very complex and sophisticated tequila. Aged for 4 years of a blend of American and French White Oak barrels.
A combination of many delicious flavours while keeping the intense cooked agave taste that is very rare in extra añejos. Unlike the other three variations of Abandonado, a bourbon spirit has been previously aged in the American Oak barrel, while the French Oak barrel was previously used for a French cognac spirit.
Extra Añejo has the complexity and perfumes of the French oak but not as perfumed as a cognac spirit. An ultra-smooth and friendly tequila with a sweet finish.
Abandonado Tequila is artisan tequila with a taste that stays in your soul and arouses all of your senses. We are one of the most incredible and unique profile taste in the world. Made with love and passion.
Every bottle is hand blown so no two bottles are the same. The bottles symbolize the Mexican Guaje or bule. It is the fruit of the Tecomate plant that is a traditional and iconic piece in the Mexican culture. The guaje is a fruit that grows in many parts of central and South America. In Mexico the guaje has been used in many different ways, as a plate, medicine, water container, seed carrier, and musical instrument.
