The highest form of tequila is 100% blue agave, which means it must be made with 100% blue agave juices and bottled at a Mexican distillery. It may be produced as blanco (silver), reposado (rested) or anejo (aged). An agave plant must be a minimum of six years old before it can be harvested and used to produce tequila.

While most tequilas are know for their burn, rustic overtones and strong alcoholic power, Talero is defined by a soft palatable elegance, creating a new standard for tequila.

Talero Tequila Anejo is our Silver tequila aged in white oak casks for more than a year. Anejo has a brilliant warm amber colour and a unique fine wooden bouquet. Its complex taste of agave pepper and the influence of the oak are due to the ageing that takes place within the barrel.

    Talero Tequila Reposado

This is blanco tequila that has rested in American White Oak casks called "pipones", from anywhere between six to eight months. The oak barrels give the reposado a mellowed taste and a pleasing bouquet oftern marked by warm caramel and sweeter notes. It's pale golden hues and generous body reflect its high quality.
