For those unfamiliar with the world of the blue agave, it is hard to image that such a sophisticated products as Reserva del Emperador could originate in the rustic landscape where these spiky plants grow.
This elixir was released for the first and only time in 1995, after which its manufacturers decided not to product it again until their cellars held another cache worth of bearing the name.
The spirt was bottle in a limited series of 220 numbered, signed and hand-blown by master-craftsman Alonso Gonazelez, and are considered irreplaceable among collectors and aficionados.
