Tequila Embajador Supreme (Añejo) is 100% Agave Tequila aged in American oak for 18 months. Embajador Supreme is a majestic amber, full body and silky with a well balanced taste of Agave, vanilla and spices at the finish.
At Tequila Embajador we like to preserve some traditional ways in producing a fine yet distinguished tequila that will comfort the soul. Our signature processes involves a cooking combination unifying the most modern techniques of a stainless steel autoclave and the rather traditional methods of cooking Agaves in the flourishing ways of the Adobe Room.
The traditional Adobe style is a delicate and longer cooking process that we take to enhance the aromatic properties and tasting profile in the Agaves that are passed on to our end product. Our agaves are grown for 8-10 years before being harvested in the region know as Los Altos (Highlands) of Jalisco, Mexico. This region is recognized worldwide for its unique fresh climate, elevation and red/amber soil. These nature given benefits of the region represent a distinctive set of aromas with more enticing sweet notes that are found in Tequila Embajador.
Only 100% Blue Weber agaves are grown in our own Embajador vineyard. Our Agaves are enriched by a unique natural spring water aquifer that flows through our land, giving the soil its continuously distinctive set of nutrients that are passed into our Agaves during the maturing process of the plant. We then hand select the most distinctive Agaves for Tequila Embajador through a process of knowledge and quality standards passed down from a generation of Jimadores that have worked our lands for generations.
We take great care and pride in taking care of mother earth through a process of recycling the production remnants of Agave fiber. The fiber leftovers are used as part of a natural fertilization process that give our Agaves healthier conditions to grow and develop those distinctive aromas and supreme taste. The rest of the fiber leftovers are mainly used by local ranchers for cattle food and as well by farmers to fertilize their lands.
