Tequila Corrido Añejo is a single-barrel añejo made from what we call a triple-barrel process. The Triple-Barreling process is identical to our Reposado "Double-Barrel" except we complete the aging process with a special proprietary third finishing barrel. We start to sample the final finishing barrel at 12 months and when it has met its desired taste profile and complexity, we bottle immediately. We age our Añejo to the "Taste Not Time" method, which is to say our Añejo tells us when it is ready. This is more costly, as CRT must be notified each time we open a barrel, but that's one of the extra steps we're willing to take to make our Anejo unique.
