Casamigos Tequila Anejo

The Añejo is aged for 14 months and has a beautifully pure and refined complex aroma, with soft caramel and vanilla notes. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness from the blue weber agaves, layered with subtle hints of spice and barrel oak, with a lingering smooth finish.
To give each tequila its special flavour profile and to ensure the finest quality, we use old-style pot stills for distillation, which as a bonus, help prevent hangovers. Many other tequilas use metal pots for distillation. The metal is absorbed by the liquid, making it difficult for the body to process, and can result in hangovers.
The unique flavour and profile of Casamigos Tequila comes from our extra-slow fermentation process. Ours takes 80 hours, which is double the industry standard. The use of bagasse from our agave for the fermentation process also generates a richer, deeper flavour, while our proprietary yeast blend ensures the most refined tequila.
Casamigos Tequila is a small batch, ultra-premium tequila made from the finest, hand-selected, 100% Blue Weber agaves, which are grown in the rich, red clay soil and cool climate of the Jalisco Highlands of Mexico. The agaves are harvested after maturing for a minimum of seven years and are hand-chosen for size and quality. A slow fermentation process results in a deep, rich flavour, and a tequila that’s as smooth as it gets.
