CRT Archive

Archive of the original 'Marcas Certificadas de Tequila' Excel files from the CRT. These files are often referred to as 'NOM Lists'.

All tequila bears a NOM (Norma Oficial Mexicana number) indicating that it is indeed authentic tequila produced in Mexico. Secondly, the number shows which tequila producer it comes from.

The NOM number lets you know which tequila producer a brand comes from. If two brands share a NOM number, they were made in the same place and might even share the same process. The four-digit NOM number can be found on any bottle of tequila, typically on the rear label.

This number is a unique four-digit code assigned by the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (CRT), on behalf of the Mexican government. The files available thought this site are publicly available data from the CRT that contains details about every brand of tequila and every licensed tequila producer in Mexico.
