Casa Montalvo Holdings, Inc., producers of Montalvo Tequila, announced today Montalvo’s entrance to the U.S. market. The award-winning, triple distilled tequila is being imported by MHW, Ltd. and will immediately launch in New York and California.

“We couldn’t be more excited about introducing Montalvo to consumers in New York and California,” said Chief Executive Officer Alex Viecco. “We’re confident in Montalvo’s premium quality and unparalleled taste, and look forward to America’s response.”

Handcrafted in small batches by Sergio and Carlos Gonzalez, brothers and fourth generation tequila producers, Montalvo is meticulously formulated from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. “After producing tequila in Mexico for four generations, we’re incredibly delighted and honored to be sharing our family’s recipe with America,” said Carlos Gonzalez. “We look forward to expanding into major U.S. markets over the coming year.”

Montalvo is currently available in three distinct expressions, Plata, Reposado and Añejo, with suggested retail prices ranging from $40 to $55, respectively. All are triple distilled, a practice performed by only 5% of producers today, and the Reposado and Añejo are individually bottled from single barrels.
