In May of last year we reported that Perry Farrell, the creator of the Lollapalooza Music Festivals and legendary front-man of the rock band Jane’s Addiction, would collaborate on a new sponsorship, advertising and experiential marketing campaign to promote the Maestro Dobel Tequila. It should therefore come as little surprise that Maestro Dobel Tequila today announced a series of promotions in coordination with the brand's sponsorship of Lollapalooza 2013.
As the official tequila of Lollapalooza, Maestro Dobel will conduct social media promotions on Facebook and Instagram, emblazon Chicago with unique outdoor displays, host special events with Farrell, and distribute brand gift bags to every act performing at Lollapalooza. "For music fans, Lollapalooza sets the standard for festivals," said a Maestro Dobel spokesperson. "Maestro Dobel sets a new standard for tequila, and we are excited to once again sponsor the festival."
