Casa Dragones Introduces Casa Dragones Tequila Blanco

Casa Dragones have announced through their website the release of a blanco expression of their tequila, previously only available as a Joven.

Casa Dragones Blanco is 100% Pure Blue Agave Tequila, handcrafted to deliver the true essence of agave through an innovative process that focuses on purity. Their Maestro Tequilero hand-selects their agaves based on the sweetness in the heart of the piña. This approach allows them to embrace the nuances and complexities of each yearly harvest.

Co-Founder Bob Pittman says, “Casa Dragones Blanco is our response to connoisseurs who have been asking for a silver tequila that is as smooth as our Joven but which can be used in high-end cocktails and mixed drinks.”

Casa Dragones Blanco uses naturally purified spring water from the Volcano of Tequila, with the perfect balance of minerals to deliver an elegantly smooth tequila with a pure agave flavor and a crisp, refined finish. Each bottle of Casa Dragones Blanco is hand-signed and labeled, and has the batch number written on the label. The award-winning bottle design is crafted from perfumer’s glass in Mexico City, with a blue neckband and silver cap and is sold in the iconic blue box.

To celebrate and launch Casa Dragones Blanco, Tequila Casa Dragones has collaborated with James Beard Award recipient and acclaimed mixologist Jim Meehan (New York City’s P.D.T) to create a flight of signature Blanco cocktails. Meehan says, “It’s an honor to help introduce a product as refined and modern as Casa Dragones Blanco, and I’ve created cocktails inspired by the subtlety of the tequila that reinforce the brand’s elegance.”

Casa Dragones Blanco will retail for $75 and will be available in select retailers, restaurants and bars in Mexico late Spring, coming to the U.S. soon after in limited quantities.
