1800 Coleccion Extra Anejo Used in World Record Margarita

Thirsty? Like Tequila? Got more money than sense? Then you need to be heading over to Manhattan's 230 FIFTH Rooftop Bar & Penthouse Lounge for a Margarita. In a press release today 230 FIFTH announced the debut of the World's most expensive Margarita, the Frozen Fifth Avenue, which will set you back a princely $1200. The cost reflects the high end ingredients used in the cocktail, $1800-a-bottle 1800 Coleccion Extra Anejo Tequila 2010 Limited Release, Quintessence Grand Marnier, which costs $800, and ice made from $450 bottles of Lois Roederer Cristal Champagne. To be fair, the price tag also reflects 230 FIFTH's donation of $600 to the charity of your choice.

To order the Frozen Fifth, you need to place your order at least 24 hours in advance. There's a phone number in the full press release if you're feeling flush.
